Phoenix Project West is no longer in operation.

Phoenix Project West was a California volunteer-based organization with a
mission of bringing the Phoenix Project Retreats of the Texas-based U.S.
Wounded Soldiers Foundation to serve veterans on the West Coast. As of
April 2, 2008, we received notification that the board of directors of the
U.S. Wounded Soldiers Foundation had decided several days earlier to
discontinue the Phoenix Project Retreat program without any prior
consultation with those of us here at Phoenix Project West.

We deeply regret this decision, but we have no control over it, and are
therefore forced to suspend our operations to support America's heroes.
We will do everything we can to ensure that donations made to support our
mission will go toward supporting our veterans.
